Real Estate In Nelson ( top )

Interest in Real Estate remained consistent throughout the winter months. Lack of listings has kept the market competitive for buyers, and prices have increased yet again due to the supply vs. demand factor this year. If you are considering selling in Nelson, it is still an ideal time to do so. If you are buying, be sure to get pre-approved for your mortgage before you start looking at properties in-order to be in a better negotiating position. Multiple offer situations are more common than not in today’s heated market.

You will notice that aside from the new feature listing posted in the Listings section on NelsonLocal.com that my inventory has completely sold out. Sellers are quite happy with the outcome of their sales (see testimonials). I have a number of pre-approved buyers who are ready to purchase today but I am in need of listings. Below are a few highlights of what my clients are looking for. If you or anyone you know is considering selling and have anything similar to the requirements below, please contact me. I would be happy to do a comparative market analysis to determine the selling value of the property and to proceed with the sale process when the timing is suitable for all parties involved.

Decorating Tip ( top )

One of the most cost effective ways to add value to your home is to apply a fresh coat of paint to dull and dated rooms. Choose colors that will work with the natural lighting in the room. To estimate how much paint you will need, measure the height and the width of each wall to be painted then multiply to determine the square footage. For large rooms with more windows and doors, deduct the square footage for a more accurate estimate. A 4-litre one gallon pail of paint will typically cover 400 square feet.
